Additional Information: Richard Barr began training in Sil Lum Kung Fu and Chi Kung in 1973. He received instructor certification from both Master Gilbert Bates, PhD and Grand Master Ark Y. Wong in the 5 Animal 5 Family Style of Kung Fu, with emphasis on the Chi Kung Forms.

To compliment this traditional training, he also studied modern energy related skills, earning certification as an Intuitive Healer, Clairvoyant and Instructor from Rev. Levanah Shell Bdolak at the Clearsight Center in Santa Monica.

Richard has combined the traditional and the contemporary energy skill he has learned to create Nine Gates Chi Kung, a simple yet powerful system of movement, breath and meditation.

After more than 30 years of training, practice and research, Richard is proud to open the Energetic Arts Center.
