People begin Martial Arts training for a variety of different reasons:
The six pillars are the central themes that our instructors continually reinforce in all classes. Martial Arts Training is more than kicking and punching. We invite you to experience our unique brand of teaching, which emphasizes high expectations and getting results. Both our instructors and our curriculum work together to help individuals experience success in the Martial Arts and in other areas of their lives.
THE GOAL OF NICKLAUS' MARTIAL ARTS AMERICA...
"CREATING AN ISLAND OF POSITIVE"
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM
Our children's programs are second to none. We teach our students using a basic philosophy of positive reinforcement to build Self Esteem, Confidence, Discipline, Positive Attitude and Values. We realize that although the ability to defend oneself is important, there are many additional benefits to be gained from involving your child in a martial arts program. Our unique method of training is fun and is designed to :
*Instill a Positive Attitude
*Build Confidence and Self Esteem
*Teach the Importance of Strong Values & Good Character
*Promote the Desire to Learn
*Improve Effort and Motivation
*Improve Concentration
*Teach Self Discipline
*Instill Respect for Oneself and For Others
*Help Students Make Good Decisions
By embodying these principles in our children's classes, the Nicklaus' Martial Arts America team has made a strong commitment to today's youngsters. Our carefully designed programs for children of all ages will improve your child's performance in other sports as well as improving study habits and increasing overall concentration. In addition to this, by building self-confidence, self-respect, and self-discipline, we are helping young people to deal with the many challenges that they will face growing up in today's world.
THE PHILOSOPHY OF TEACHING
The Philosophy of the staff at Nicklaus' Martial Arts America is to challenge students to challenge themselves. By developing the skill to challenge oneself a student receives ownership of a particular skill. A person who owns an important skill or attitude can not have it taken away by anyone. Ownership comes through proper attitude, repetition, and a strong determination to continually improve. A person who has worked hard to own a skill is a person who is also more confident, more focused, and happier.
The owners of Nicklaus' Martial arts America, Fred & Kate Nicklaus, have been involved in providing progressive martial arts instruction to La Crosse & Onalaska area residents since 1979. Over time the Nicklaus' have developed a staff and a curriculum that can help students of all ages get the results they desire and other results they never thought possible. Hard work and dedication to excellence have made Nicklaus' Martial Arts America one of the top Martial Arts Schools in the US.
~Awarded Top 100 Martial Arts School in America of over 20,000 schools in the US.
