Sifu Kautzman is dedicated to the perpetuation of southern Gung Fu and the Hung Gar system. His lineage branches from two major sources- Chiu Kao and Lam Jo. Both taught by the famous master Lam Tsai Wing. Lam Tsai Wing in turn was taught by the famous Wong Fei Hung.

Sifu Kautzman has been inducted into 2 different Kung Fu Halls of Fame:

United International Kung Fu Federation Hall of Fame (1998)
Martial Arts Masters, Pioneers, & Legends Hall of Fame (1999)

He is also a board member of the newly formed World Hung Gar Organization.
